In 1950’s Austria, a woman named Grete Hausler accompanied her friend to visit the famed healer Bruno Groening. Grete was not a believer in miracles, and confided to her mother that she believed that this Bruno Groening was a faker and a charlatan. However, as her friend was blind and had no one else, Grete agreed to accompany her.
Grete herself was not well. She suffered from chronic sinusitis, vertigo, hypoglycemia, and liver disease. She was chronically tired, dizzy, and had to follow a strict diet.
When they two ladies arrived at the location, they were asked to sit in a room with many other people. A woman addressed the group and explained how the process worked. A few people experienced a healing right away, while others attended meetings for years with little improvement.
Just before Bruno appeared, Grete felt an electric current of energy throughout her body. She suddenly felt lighter, pain-free, and optimistic. “This must be what health feels like!”, she thought to herself.
Bruno entered and looked at Grete. He said to her, “He is a faker and a charlatan!”, in the exact same words and gestures that Grete expressed weeks prior. Grete was very embarrassed! She realized that he was able to perceive everything about her. He then looked at her with kindness and love, and told her that she was to be completely healed.
It was at that exact moment that Grete decided that she would support Bruno in spreading his teachings and helping more people heal. For the rest of her life, she was a tireless devotee of Bruno, and she founded the organization “Circle of Friends”, that now members all over the world.

Why did Bruno heal Grete? Especially since he was aware of the derogatory remarks she spoke about him?
The answer is in something Bruno himself said. He taught that the Creator looks at us as we would look at a fruit tree (not a direct quote). If we can see that a tree will bear much fruit, we will give that tree more nurture and attention.
Bruno could see her great potential to spread his teachings! He knew she would help bring healing and peace to many, and that she had a strong and loyal heart.

I also see the opposite is true. Since we do live with duality programmed into our reality, the Dark side also looks for potentially influential individuals that have the capacity to spread darkness.
Everything has its opposite.

One more thing to add! When a person becomes rigid and fixed in their views, is only interested in himself (or herself), it seems that the Higher Soul will sometimes deem that there is no more expansion available in that incarnation, and… decide to cut that lifetime short.
